Alisa’s Mother’s Day Asparagus Gruyere Tart | #alisamurray

1 Puff pastry sheet
Asparagus (1 bunch, possibly 2 if they are petite)
1 cup of fresh green peas
dash white pepper
2 cups of Gruyere cheese
3 cloves of garlic, fresh and sliced
dash of fennel seeds

Take the thawed pastry out and place on a parchment lined pan
Using a knife, perforate the center and draw a score in the pattern all around the edges leaving 1 inch “make a frame”
Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins until puffy and golden brown

Assemble in the center of the tart the Gruyere cheese, then the asparagus placing heads and tails alternating, toss on the peas,pepper,fennel and sliced garlic
Bake at 350 for 25 more minutes
